Hurricane Isaias – Don’t get caught unprepared Orlando!

I don’t think we need to remind anybody around Orlando of a hurricane’s destructive force. What I find myself needing during Hurricane Season (June 1 – November 30) are little nudges alerting me of the incoming storm's current location and information regarding preparation. For those like me out there, I leave you with two official sites where you can gather this crucial information.

  1. The National Hurricane Center is the division of the US government responsible for tracking and predicting tropical weather systems in our area.

  2. Ready.gov is an official site from the US Department of Homeland Security designed to help prepare the population in case of emergencies, natural or man-made.

With the information provided on both of these sites, you will have the majority of information requirements covered during a hurricane emergency.
